First Day of School

Today is the first day of school, and I am so excited! I woke up early this morning, brushed my teeth and hair, put on my new school uniform, and grabbed my backpack. My mom took a lot of pictures of me, and then we drove to school. I was a little nervous on the way there, but my mom told me that I was going to have a great day.

Learning and Playing

When I got to school, my teacher greeted me at the door. Her name is Ms. Johnson, and she is so nice. She showed me around the classroom and introduced me to my new classmates. We did a lot of fun activities today, like singing songs, coloring pictures, and playing games. My favorite activity was when we went outside for recess and played on the swings and slide. I made some new friends, and we had so much fun together.

Homework and Bedtime

After school, I came home and told my mom all about my day. She was so proud of me! She helped me with my homework, which was to color a picture of a dog and a cat. Then we had dinner together and talked about our day. Finally, it was time for me to brush my teeth and get ready for bed. My mom read me a bedtime story, and I fell asleep with a smile on my face, already looking forward to tomorrow. In conclusion, my first day of first grade was amazing. I learned a lot, made new friends, and had so much fun. I can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for me!
